Department Definition
To provide an appropriate school environment for learning in line with developmental stages and the grade level, while considering individual differences, through the preparation of guidance programs that inspire students and support their personal, academic, career, and social growth and progress, and by helping them develop their study plans and follow them, assisting students in discovering their academic abilities and potential and their career aspirations, and helping them understand their problems and resolve them.
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing a self development plan and completing the self assessment.
Communicating with students parents and providing advisory, guidance, and career related services regarding their children.
Communicating with higher education institutions, the private sector, and local entities, identifying future job opportunities, and involving them in activities.
Providing the necessary support to the department manager and carrying out any other tasks assigned.
Implementing activities and events and organizing joint career guidance exhibitions inside and outside the school in coordination with professional academic advisors in other schools.
Implementing the academic and career guidance curriculum at the secondary education stage, including teaching, awareness, training, and assessment to evaluate students performance.
Preparing and implementing the academic and career guidance plan in coordination with other specialists in the school.
Collecting information about students academic and career orientations and providing advice and guidance on pathways suitable to their abilities and aspirations, and on suitable specializations and professions.
