Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director Airport Systems Integration to join our team. The Project Director will serve as the single point of accountability for the delivery of the Master Systems Integrator (MSI) scope across both Terminal and Airfield systems packages within a major international airport development program.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Directs the overall delivery of the MSI scope across Terminal and Airfield systems packages for a major international airport development programme.Provides executive leadership for all programme governance activities related to systems integration, testing & commissioning, operational readiness, and phased system activation.

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, airport operators, aviation authorities, EPC contractors, IVVQ consultants, and regulatory agencies.

  • Leads programme-wide integration assurance activities to ensure all systems interfaces are coordinated, validated, tested, and operationally compliant.

  • Establishes and oversees Systems Assurance processes including requirements traceability, verification and validation, compliance demonstration, integration evidence management, and acceptance readiness reporting.

  • Oversees the implementation and integration of airport operational systems including AODB, A-SMGCS, ALCMS, AOCC, RMS, FIDS, ATMS, CNS Systems, ICT infrastructure, security systems, baggage handling systems, middleware platforms and associated operational technologies.

  • Ensures all systems delivery activities comply with applicable aviation regulations, airport operational standards, cybersecurity requirements, and programme governance procedures.

  • Establishes programme-wide interface governance processes including interface identification, ownership assignment, issue resolution, escalation management, and interface closure verification.

  • Directs programme-level testing and commissioning strategies including factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing, operational validation, and phased go-live activities.

  • Directs integrated testing and validation activities including Systems Integration Testing (SIT), System-Centric Integration Testins (SCIT), operational validation, stakeholder demonstrations, and readiness assessment across interfacing systems.

  • Maintains oversight of integration-related risks, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, and interface issues that may impact programme delivery, testing activities, and operational readiness.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized university.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, INCOSE Systems Engineering, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable.

  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure, aviation, airport systems, or complex technology integration programmes.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in major international airport programmes involving systems integration, operational technologies, or airport-wide systems delivery.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering airport systems programmes through testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and activation phases. Strong experience managing multidisciplinary delivery teams within large-scale PMC, EPC, MSI, or integrated delivery environments.

  • GCC airport programme experience is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive reporting skills.

  • Ability to function effectively within multi-organizational programme environments while maintaining alignment with client objectives and governance frameworks.
