Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Business Development & Project Acquisition 1. Identify and pursue new project opportunities in surveying and civil works. 2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and government entities. 3. Prepare and submit competitive proposals and tenders.
• Project Planning & Execution 4. Plan, organize, and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets. 5. Coordinate with survey teams, civil engineers, and subcontractors. 6. Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Financial & Administrative Management 7. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and resource allocation plans. 8. Monitor expenses and ensure profitability targets are met. 9. Follow up with clients for timely payment collection.
• Technical & Operational Oversight 10. Supervise field survey operations including topographic, geodetic, and construction surveys. 11. Review and approve engineering drawings, survey data, and technical reports. 12. Resolve technical challenges during project execution.
• Client Communication & Reporting 13. Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. 14. Provide regular progress updates to management and clients. 15. Prepare final project documentation for handover.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Surveying Engineering (Master’s preferred). • Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in Oman in both surveying and civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Oman market regulations, standards, and tendering processes.
• Proven track record of securing and delivering projects successfully.
• Proficiency in surveying software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Total Station, GPS systems, etc.). • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Valid Oman driving license preferred.
