Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all phases of high-rise construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating potential delays, and ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and change order management, to maintain financial control.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, addressing any deficiencies and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, architects, engineers, and owners, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Manage the permit and approval process, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel and minimizing the risk of accidents.
- Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise during construction, finding practical solutions and preventing disruptions to project progress.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, budget, and any potential risks or challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in managing the construction of high-rise buildings, including concrete structures, curtain wall systems, and MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera Pand Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address challenges proactively and efficiently.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
