Senior Resident Engineer (High Rise) J10 Consulting FZ LLE

Our Regarded Engineering & Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant Senior Resident Engineer with strong experience of High Rise (G+30 and above) to join their team in Dubai, UAE to work on new high rise hospitality and residential projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Resident Engineer on large scale high rise projects in the UAE and the wider GCC.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer with at least 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, with 5+ years of direct experience working in Dubai on high rise and hotel buildings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale projects (minimum 30+ floors) from inception to completion.

• Oversee the construction of high-rise buildings and hotel projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality control processes.

• Manage the day-to-day operations at the project site, ensuring the efficient coordination of resources, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related technical issues and liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants.

• Provide technical direction and supervision to the engineering team on-site.

• Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.

• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, addressing potential delays or issues on time.

• Review and approve material and equipment submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documents.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to junior engineers and site staff.
