Bake Matic is expanding its footprint across the GCC, and we are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the setup and development of new industrial bakery facilities. If you have deep expertise in bakery manufacturing projects and a passion for building high-quality, efficient production operations from the ground up, we want to hear from you.


About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving the end-to-end establishment of new industrial baking facilities typically 5,000 sqm and producing 48 tons daily across 70+ SKU lines. Based at our regional HQ in Doha, Qatar, you will manage new builds and support ongoing projects across the MEA region.


You will oversee everything from facility layout and machinery installation to ingredient planning, production readiness, logistics, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires strong technical understanding, excellent project management ability, and the confidence to collaborate with global suppliers, investors, engineers, and internal teams.


What You Will Do

  • Lead the full project lifecycle for new industrial bakery setups, from design to operational launch.
  • Coordinate facility layout, equipment selection, production planning, recipes, logistics, marketing plans, and business plans.
  • Serve as the main liaison for investors, machinery and ingredient suppliers, and contractors.
  • Oversee procurement and installation of industrial bakery machinery, equipment, and raw materials.
  • Review and interpret AutoCAD, mechanical, and electrical layout drawings.
  • Supervise technical teams, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless installation and integration.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with international suppliers.
  • Manage budgets, project plans, and weekly progress updates.
  • Ensure compliance with industry, food safety, hygiene, and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and operations to align setups with quality and productivity goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or related field (BBS preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in project management within the bakery or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of bakery ingredients, processes, and semi-automatic industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret layout, mechanical, and MEP drawings.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the GCC.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to technical detail.

Preferred Experience

  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Hands-on experience setting up industrial or automated bakery equipment.
  • Knowledge of regional food safety and equipment compliance standards.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
