Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Communicate with consultants and clients on contractual matters, delays, extensions of time, variations, warranties, and to resolve or escalate any issues on site
  • - Execution and administration of the project as per the contract, specifications and project plan.
  • - Resource planning, site mobilization and timely submittals of drawings, documents, inspection requests, RFIs and variations.
  • - Cost management in collaboration with Q/S to ensure job costing, purchasing and billing are executed correctly
  • - Monitoring of construction program and progress to ensure timely completion of the project
  • - Management of all aspects of the project, including earthworks, soft and hard landscape, irrigation, drainage, civil works and growing in
  • - Management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures
  • - Ensure timely procurement and control of materials on site
  • - Oversee all subcontractors on site to meet project objectives, timelines, and quality standards

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Agriculture/Horticulture and a minimum of 15+ years experience, Minimum 5 years experience in UAE.
  • - Strong ability in Construction, Cost Management and Project Execution
  • - Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal (English, Arabic is a plus)
  • - Advanced knowledge with the ability to read and interpret construction plans (details, scale, notes, etc.)
  • - Proven ability to lead with a professional demeanour in adverse situations
  • - Sound working knowledge in Construction ERP software, Primavera and AutoCAD
  • - Demonstrable skills in Value Engineering and Cost Control techniques
