Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and permits, are properly managed.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control reports.
- Track expenses, approve invoices, and monitor financial performance against the project plan.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specifications and contractual obligations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for all site personnel.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and progress.
- Resolve conflicts and issues promptly to maintain project continuity.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and reporting.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Mentor and guide junior project staff to enhance team performance.
- Foster collaboration across departments to optimize project delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10–15 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record managing medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
