Roles & Responsibilities

    OHTL Project Manager | Job Description

    • Orchestrate OHTL Project Lifecycle: Lead the entire lifecycle of Overhead Transmission Line projects (from 13.8kV up to 380kV), starting from site survey and foundation works to tower erection, stringing, and final commissioning, ensuring full compliance with National Grid/SEC standards.

    • Technical Scope & Risk Management: Proactively manage project scope (BoQ), rigorous schedules, and budgets. Identify site-specific risks (such as soil conditions, crossing permits, or environmental hurdles) and implement mitigation strategies to ensure delivery within financial and time constraints.

    • Team Leadership & Subcontractor Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including site engineers, linemen, and surveyors. Foster a collaborative environment between civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to achieve high performance and safety (HSE) targets.

    • Documentation & Stakeholder Alignment: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Daily/Weekly Progress Reports (DPR), Look-ahead schedules, and As-Built drawings. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, consultants, and electricity authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, civil or Electrical , or a related field provides a solid foundation for this role.

  • Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification demonstrates project management expertise preferable .

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Experience in OHTL industry
