Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Tivoli employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- To efficiently handle application of all types of visas including employment and residence visas for all associates.
- To ensure that all legal requirements pertaining to visas of associates are met and complied with.
- To liaise with applicants to ensure that all requirements pertaining to the application of their visas are submitted.
- To assist Human Resources in ensuring smooth arrival and departure/repatriation of all associates.
- To coordinate with all local government agencies such as the General Directorate for Naturalization & Residence, Ministry of Interior & Labour, etc.
- To maintain and cultivate goodwill and good relationship with Government agencies.
- To continuously maintain good knowledge of Oman Labor Laws and Government Department procedures.
- To assist the Hotel with documents requiring Arabic translation.
- To provide overall assistance in the Human Resources as required.
- To support and be a part of all activities relating to employee relations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in public relations
At least 3+ years of experience in leading a public relations team of international operations with evident track record
Experience in hotel or tourism business is a plus
Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory
Proficient in using computer software and publishing systems
Proactive, dynamic and able to succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
