Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Review Material Requisitions (MR), BOQ, drawings, and specifications and plan procurement activities based on project timelines.

  2. Prepare and send RFQs, obtain quotations from vendors, and prepare Quotation Comparison Sheets (QCS) for evaluation.

  3. Issue and manage Purchase Orders (PO), ensuring correct specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and documentation.

  4. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and coordinate with site teams, logistics, and stores.

  5. Ensure materials comply with project standards, MTCs, and quality requirements in coordination with QA/QC.

  6. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and cost efficiency.

  7. Maintain proper procurement records, vendor database, and procurement status reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Understanding of mechanical construction materials

  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Vendor sourcing capability

  • Knowledge of project procurement cycles

  • ERP / procurement software knowledge
