Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will maintain quality standards by inspecting and approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials and raise Non-Conformance report (NCR).
• Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the Production Manager to avoid future recurrence.
• Approve all finished products by confirming against project specifications/drawings and conducting required tests.
• Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation and close NCR to confirm re-work.
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Document all QA/QC related documentation such reports, material test certificates (MTC) of raw material received, material data sheets etc.
• Keep measurement equipment and instruments operating by following operating instructions, calibration and calling for repairs.
• Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulation.
• Coach and mentor junior employees; seek opportunities to grow leadership in others.
• Instruct directly to workers in the production on the corrective actions to be adopted to overcome quality issues.
• Update company quality plan on a regular basis and apply strictly.
• Apply project specific quality plans for both company and site and monitor closely its strict implementation.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.
• Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed

Qualification:

• Sc. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office.
• Excellent report making and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and demonstrate methodologies in English.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
