Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Supplier Quality Assurance & Quality Control (SQA/QC) activities for EPC Oil & Gas projects.
Review and approve vendor Quality Plans (QAP), ITPs, procedures, and inspection reports.
Conduct supplier audits in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Coordinate and witness inspections at vendor/manufacturer facilities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
Perform surveillance on fabrication, welding, NDT, coating, and material inspections.
Review and verify material test certificates (MTC), NDT reports, and dimensional inspection reports.
Liaise with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
Monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
Ensure timely submission of quality documentation and final dossiers.
Provide technical support during pre-qualification and technical bid evaluations of vendors.
Desired Candidate Profile
BE / B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 10+ years' experience in Supplier Quality Assurance & Control CSWIP 3.2 / AWS CWI or equivalent ASNT / PCN Level II in RT, UT, PT & MPI ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
