QA/QC Engineer (Electrical)

About the Role

A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC MEP Electrical Engineer with a strong track record in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, documenting, and verifying Electrical installations and electrical works, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections for lighting, power distribution, switchgear, panels, earthing, and LV systems.
• Ensure full compliance with DEWA standards, project drawings, BOQs, and material specs.
• Generate and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and internal project teams for snag closure and final handover.
• Witness and document testing & commissioning of electrical systems (IR testing, insulation resistance, continuity, etc.).
• Participate in authority inspections (DCD, DM, DEWA) and ensure compliance.
• Track all QA/QC documentation and assist in preparing handover files and O&M manuals.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 5 6 years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles within UAE high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD) and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and reporting for electrical systems.
• Track record of completing at least 2 full-cycle electrical projects.
• Solid understanding of NOC processes, power approvals, and DEWA coordination.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with a stable employment background.
• Ability to join immediately and provide salary documentation or SOA before final round.
