QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.).

• Review and approve fabrication drawings, WPS, PQR, and welding procedures.

• Monitor and inspect fabrication activities including:

  • Structural steel fabrication

  • Plate works

  • Piping fabrication

  • Storage tank erection

• Conduct stage-wise inspections:

  • Fit-up inspection

  • Welding inspection

  • Dimensional inspection

  • Final inspection

• Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT).

• Liaise with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and consultants.

• Ensure proper documentation of quality records and reports.

• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports, NCRs, and corrective action reports.

• Conduct internal quality audits and toolbox talks related to quality.

• Ensure material traceability and review mill test certificates (MTCs).

• Support site erection and commissioning activities from quality perspective.
