Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting internal Quality Control Inspections on site activities & Material delivered prior to conducting inspection with the consultant/client.

• Assist in coordinating work inspections & material inspections with the project team, subcontractors, and testing labs under supervision.

• Assist in conducting site surveillance, identify potential non-conformances, and report them to senior engineers for further action.

• Assist in tracking non-conformances and support the project team in gathering information for root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Assist the Project QA/QC Specialist during authority inspections by preparing documents and observing the process.

• Assist in maintaining and organizing QA/QC documentation such as reports, records, and testing logs. Ensure records are accurately filed and up-to-date under the supervision of a senior engineer.

• Support communication by providing necessary quality data and documentation to senior engineers for discussions with stakeholders.

• Assist in updating and maintaining logs for inspections, method statements, and test reports under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Assist in collecting quality data from inspections, audits, NCRs, and feedback. Help maintain logs and archives for accurate analysis.

• Assist in reviewing project documents, including drawings and material submittals, under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Assist in preparing method statements and ITPs. Ensure site activities adhere to the approved method statements.

• Assist in organizing and documenting training sessions. Ensure staff are familiar with method statements and quality procedures by participating in the training process.

• Support the usage of digital tools on-site for quality inspections and data collection. Assist in the digital documentation of reports, inspections, and NCRs through mobile devices and apps.

• Assist in organizing factory/fabrication yard inspections by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team. Support the documentation of inspection observations.

• Assist in coordinating with third-party testing agencies to schedule tests as per ITPs and contract specifications. Support in collecting and submitting test results after verification.

• Assist in identifying improvement opportunities based on daily activities and observations.

• Assist in the preparation of testing and commissioning plans by gathering required data and supporting documentation. Ensure plans are consistent with project specifications and standards.

• Assist in reviewing redline markups provided by field personnel and project engineers. Ensure changes are accurately reflected in the project drawings.
