Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC inspectors, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring adherence to company standards and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans, including inspection and testing procedures, to guarantee product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of materials, processes, and finished products, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring conformity.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions, to prevent recurrence and maintain product integrity.
  • Review and approve quality-related documentation, such as inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to address quality concerns and improve overall product quality.
  • Manage and maintain calibration and maintenance schedules for testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and regulations, proactively incorporating them into quality control processes.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably within a relevant industry such as construction or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing QA/QC teams, with a proven ability to drive results and improve quality performance.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM).
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools, such as inspection software and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language proficiency is a plus.
