Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Identifies issues/problems, then gathers, reviews, analyses, researches, evaluates, audit, and reports findings.

• Performs quality reviews to measure performance against contract regulations, program policy, and procedures.

• Makes visits to sites and reports any lapse in adhering to the company quality management system.

• Identifies and reports on trends that may impact quality.

• Reviews industry quality standards and tools and prepare reports and briefings to management.

• Develops corrective action plans, with action strategies, in response to research findings.

• Performs informal audits to make sure group or process is conforming to specified requirements or pre-determined criteria.

• Audits and tests process and application performance against specifications to ensure quality.

• Audits process metrics by understanding how the metrics are captured, analysed, and reported.

• Apply general knowledge of the relevant ISO standard, coordinate, and execute quality reviews for multiple accounts and customers to assess contract obligations and customer expectations.

• Interact with all levels of management, customers and peers regarding audit results and recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualified welding inspector certificate – CSWIP 3.1 ( min)
  • Familiarizing in process piping welding like GTAW+SMAW (CS piping ), Tig welding + SAW for SS 316 and Cu NI materials
  • Qualified Painting inspector – BGAS certified / NACE certified (preferred )
  • ASNT NDT – LEVEL 2 Certified (RT,UT , DPT , MPI )
  • ISO – 9001 Audit certification
  • Familiarize with conducting inspection for Load testing , PMI , Welder Qualification Documentation Etc .
  • Familiarize with relevant standards Such ASME B 31.3 , Section 2 for Materials , Section V , Section VIII div1 (pressure vessel and pressure testing ) , Section IX for welding and Bracing Qualification etc.
  • Also Familiarize in testing and commissioning of firefighting Equipment , preparation of QC dossiers , ITP , test packs etc.
  • QCE Scope Involves- Submission of ITP and QCE documents, Fabrication Inspection Activities and Materials Inspection at Site or Vendor Facilities and Commissioning and Hand over .
