Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer with 5 to 10 years of construction experience to ensure that construction works meet quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The candidate will monitor construction activities, perform inspections, and coordinate with project teams to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with Abu Dhabi authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement and maintain the project QA/QC plan and procedures
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and testing for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards
• Identify non-conformance issues (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality checklists, and test records
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements
• Maintain QA/QC documentation for audits, inspections, and handover packages
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports

Coordination & Site Support

• Coordinate with Project Manager, Construction Manager, and site engineers for quality matters
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure compliance
• Attend site meetings to discuss quality issues and improvement measures

Testing & Compliance

• Supervise material testing, laboratory reports, and site trials
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, UAE regulations, and Abu Dhabi authorities
• Support third-party inspections and certification processes

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend quality improvements, best practices, and corrective/preventive actions
• Train site staff and subcontractors on quality awareness and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering

Experience

• 5 tot 10 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in UAE / Abu Dhabi construction projects
• Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, or infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA/QC software/tools
• Understanding of Abu Dhabi authority requirements, ISO 9001, and Estidama/LEED standards

• Ability to identify and solve quality-related problems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with main contractors, PMC, or consultants in Abu Dhabi
• Hands-on experience with site inspections, authority approvals, and material testing
• Ability to mentor and guide junior QA/QC staff
