Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector with 5 to 8 years of construction experience to carry out inspections and quality control activities for construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will ensure that all site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Abu Dhabi authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Site Inspection & Quality Control

• Conduct routine and scheduled site inspections for ongoing construction activities
• Verify works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with ITPs, checklists, and quality procedures
• Witness tests and inspections and record results

Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions

• Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure
• Report recurring quality issues to the QA/QC Engineer or QA/QC Manager

Material & Workmanship Control

• Inspect delivered materials and verify compliance with approved submittals
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of materials on site
• Monitor workmanship standards for civil, architectural, and/or MEP works

Consultant & Authority Coordination

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and Abu Dhabi authorities
• Assist during inspections by ADM/DMT, ADDC, ADCD, and other relevant authorities
• Ensure inspection comments are properly recorded and closed

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare inspection requests (IRs), checklists, and daily inspection reports
• Maintain accurate quality records and logs
• Support preparation of as-built and handover documentation

HSE & Compliance Support

• Ensure works are carried out in compliance with HSE requirements
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to the HSE team
• Promote quality and safety awareness on site

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Experience

• 5 to 8 years of QA/QC inspection experience in construction
• Strong experience in Abu Dhabi projects
• Exposure to buildings, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and ITPs
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority inspection requirements
• Ability to prepare inspection reports and quality documentation

Certifications (Preferred)

• CSWIP (for structural/steel works)
• Relevant QA/QC certifications or training

Competencies

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently on site
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with main contractors or PMC consultants in Abu Dhabi
• Hands-on experience with consultant and authority inspections
• Ability to work in fast-track project environments
