Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Strong technical knowledge of welding engineering, including development, review, and implementation of WPS, PQRs, and WQTs. Extensive experience with low-alloy steels, particularly Chrome-Moly materials, with P91 experience being mandatory. Thorough hands-on knowledge of ASME Codes, specifically ASME Section I, ASME Section IX, ASME B31.1, and ASME B31.3. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, including implementation and maintenance of project quality plans, procedures, and project specifications. Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable codes, and client standards. Solid understanding of welding processes, PWHT, material traceability, and QA/QC documentation management. Demonstrated managerial and leadership capability, with experience leading QA/QC teams and coordinating with Construction, Engineering, Clients, and Third-Party Inspectors. Effective communicator, capable of representing QA/QC during audits, inspections, and client meetings.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification. Minimum CSWIP 3.1 certification. Minimum ASNT Level II certification in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
