Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory quality standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures and documentation in line with industry best practices.

Monitor production processes to identify deviations, non-conformities, and areas for improvement, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and R&D teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare and maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality reports for internal and external audits.

Assist in the training of staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with certifications such as Naturland, Biosuisse, JAS, NOP, and Fair Trade.

Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Support the development and validation of new testing methods and quality control tools.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to quality management in the agricultural and manufacturing sectors.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in quality control and/or quality assurance within the agricultural, food, or beverage manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of QC and QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Familiarity with international quality standards and certifications (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP, Fair Trade).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and quality management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work on-site and adapt to flexible working hours as needed.
