Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for manual and automated testing.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for web and backend systems.
- Perform API testing and validate system integrations.
- Document and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Ensure test coverage aligns with project requirements and business expectations.
- Continuously improve testing strategies and automation coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups).
- Support deployment validation and release readiness activities.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and maintain quality documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
What We re Looking For:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (Manual & Automation).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, or Cypress).
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and test case design.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with API testing, SQL, and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
- Knowledge of financial systems or fintech applications is an advantage.
