Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and GMP.

  • Perform regular inspections and audits of the production line to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure that, the company compliance with the requirements / laws and regulations of Egyptian standard, Ministry Of Health MOH and National Food Safety Authority NFSA
  • Establish and implement the internal and external audit (plans - checklists) regarding to (NFSA, ISO9001, ISO22000, FSSC, HALAL, BRC, AIB).
  • Lead and participate in GMP, GHP or GSP deviation to reach the root cause using quality tools like root cause analysis, control charts, PDCA and others.
  • Manage Root Cause Analysis for all deviations and defects to avoid recurrence.
  • Follow up and conduct verification for all CCP's / OPRP's.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment for cleanliness and proper maintenance.
  • Evaluate compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations.
  • Report any non-conformities or deviations from standards and assist in corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for production staff on hygiene protocols and GMP.
  • Develop training materials and documentation to support ongoing staff education.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality issues, non-conformities, and compliance to management.
  • Work closely with production and management teams to promote a culture of quality and safety.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, assisting in the development of quality standards and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in food safety and quality management (e.g., HACCP, SQF) are an asset.
  • Prior experience (2:4 years) in food quality inspection or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with GMP, hygiene standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
