Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor and inspect plastic products during and after injection moulding production.
Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
Ensure products meet approved drawings, dimensions, weight, color, and customer
specifications.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and rejection reports.
Identify moulding defects such as shrinkage, warpage, flash, short shots, burn marks, etc.
Coordinate with production team to resolve process-related issues.
Check raw materials (virgin, recycled, masterbatch) before production.
Verify proper material mixing ratios and handling procedures.
Perform final inspection before dispatch.
Follow ISO quality standards and company SOPs.
Support rejection reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
3–4 years of experience in Quality Control within the injection moulding industry.
Good knowledge of plastic materials (PP, HDPE, etc.).
Experience using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, weighing scale, height gauge).
Understanding of moulding defects and corrective actions.
Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred.
