Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to identify and document maintenance needs and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of facility vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve reported facility issues, complaints, and work orders, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with facility management teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on facility performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the facility is compliant with all relevant environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives, promoting responsible resource management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent, demonstrating professional expertise.
  • Demonstrates at least 5 years of progressive experience in facility management, with a focus on quality control.
  • Exhibits strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Possesses proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and other facility management tools.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
