Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Familiar with the MOH, SFDA, SCFHS, and other entities regulations.
- Collaborate with hospital and healthcare staff to develop and implement the organization s quality and patient safety policies.
- To develop and maintain the quality manuals according to CBAHI and JCI requirements.
- Initiate, develop, rectify, and amend all kinds of required departmental and hospital-wide accreditation documents such as policies& procedures, forms, checklists, terms of reference, meeting minutes, credentialing and privileging forms, plans, personnel file requirements, medical records requirements, Key performance indicators, etc.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, corrective actions and re-validations.
- Initiate and follow up on performance improvement projects.
- Oversees the patient safety program, including incident reporting, root cause analyses, sentinel event reporting, failure mode analyses, systems design, cause and effects analysis, and proactive staff training and education.
- Establish quality measurement and improvement activities, including methods to track the implementation of action plans.
- Collaborate with Infection Control, Quality, Patient Safety, Risk Management, Facility Management& Safety committees.
- Oversee the direct operations of the Quality department, its staff and budget.
- Promote and train on quality improvement initiatives, quality, and patient safety awareness, and recognition programs.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Nursing, Medical science, or Healthcare Management / Quality Assurance or equivalent, preferably with a clinical background.
- Certified in healthcare quality, and patient safety (e.g., CPHQ, CPPS, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) is highly recommended.
- Minimum 2 years of Extensive Experience in CBAHI, JCI, CAP, and other types of accreditations.
- Data advanced analytical skills using MS Excel, Minitab, SPSS, etc.
- Advanced user of Computers, the internet, professional email and cloud platforms, MS Office 365, etc.

- Teamwork extraordinary player that can deal with any type of personality.
- Extraordinary communication skills, training design, and presentation.
- Creativity and out-of-the-box problem-solving techniques.
- Coping with stress and work overload.
- Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills to deal effectively with all levels of hospital staff, public, agencies, and entities involved in the quality operation.
- Expertise in information systems and process improvement techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and documentation of quality processes.
