Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Quality system management

  • Define, implement and manage the quality management system (QMS).
  • Ensure the QMS complies with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC or IFS standards.
  • Update the quality documentation (procedures, instructions, records).
  • Ensure traceability of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.

Continuous improvement and quality performance

  • Identify and analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor quality indicators and manage management reviews.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects related to production, maintenance and logistics.
  • Propose improvement plans to optimize processes and reduce costs associated with poor quality.

Audits and compliance

  • Plan and conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits (clients, certifications, authorities).
  • Prepare for regulatory inspections and ensure documentary compliance.
  • Oversee the management of customer complaints and the processing of returns.
  • Ensure supplier compliance in collaboration with the purchasing department.

Animation and awareness

  • Train and raise awareness among staff regarding good quality and hygiene practices.
  • Develop a culture of quality within the company.
  • Coordinate the work of the quality teams and monitor the application of procedures.
  • Education: Bac +4 / Bac +5 in Quality, Agri-food, Chemistry or Industrial Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the agri-food sector.
  • Languages: French required, technical English preferred.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC/IFS standards.
  • Strong knowledge of microbiology, hygiene and food safety.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, FMEA, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of the agri-food sector and customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Office Suite, ERP, quality software).

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bac +4 / Bac +5 in Quality, Agri-food, Chemistry or Industrial Management.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the agri-food sector.

Languages: French required, technical English preferred.
