Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to guarantee adherence to quality specifications.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimize processes.
- Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate external audits to maintain certifications and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards, procedures, and best practices for staff at all levels.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of quality concerns.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and competitiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within food manufacturing (mandatory).
- Proven track record in developing and implementing quality management systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising quality assurance teams.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
