Quantity Surveyor Aqleh Engineering Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of cost estimates, budget forecasts, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Preparation of tender documents, specifications, and contract conditions.
• Conduct rate analysis, benchmarking, and market research for pricing accuracy.
• Evaluate tenders, prepare comparison reports, and support in tender negotiations.
• Advise the client on procurement strategies, risk allocation, and contract forms.

Post-Contract

• Manage and monitor project costs against budget and contract provisions.
• Review, evaluate, and certify the contractor s interim payment applications.
• Administer contract variations, claims, and change management.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.
• Support dispute resolution, including preparation of supporting documentation.
• Provide final account settlement and close-out reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 7 years QS experience in UAE projects (roads & infrastructure highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and local UAE contract practices.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
