Key Responsibilities: 1. Estimation & Tendering

• Prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for soft and hard landscaping projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare competitive cost estimates.

• Participate in the tendering process by preparing cost submissions and responding to queries.

• Conduct material take-offs and quantify manpower and machinery needs.

2. Contract & Cost Management

• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budget and commercial targets.

• Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.

• Evaluate and process variations, claims, and change orders.

• Assist in negotiation and agreement of subcontractor payments and terms.

3. Procurement Support

• Provide input for procurement of landscaping materials, plants, and subcontracted works.

• Validate supplier quotations and assist in vendor selection based on cost and quality.

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain updated records of cost, quantities, and contractual documentation.

• Prepare and submit project cost reports, forecasts, and commercial summaries.

• Assist with contract close-out and final account settlements.

5. Site Coordination

• Work closely with site teams to validate progress and identify variations.

• Conduct site visits for quantity verification and assessment of completed work.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

• 3 7 years of UAE experience in landscaping or infrastructure projects.

• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy).

• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local UAE legal framework.
