Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with the design and estimation team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and project valuations.
- Conduct tendering processes, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs, track expenses, and report deviations.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, materials, and work progress.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize cost efficiency.
- Provide professional advice on procurement, risk management, and value engineering.
- Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and guide the team in best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- RICS membership (MRICS) preferred and highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and project management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, Primavera).
- Experience in preparing BOQs, cost reports, tender documentation, and project valuations.
- Familiarity with KSA construction standards, building codes, and regulations.
