Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Quantity Surveyor (Road Construction)
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage costs, contracts, and procurement for road construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and forecasts for roadworks, earthworks, and pavement construction.
Contract Administration: Review contracts, handle variations, claims, and extensions of time.
Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers for materials like asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
Measurement: Verify quantities for payment certificates and progress claims.
Reporting: Provide cost updates to project teams and clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying or related field
3+ years of experience in road construction projects
Knowledge of road construction methods, contracts, and cost management
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Skills:
Proficient in QS software
Familiar with UAE road construction standards
Excellent with numbers and MS Excel
