Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for oil and gas projects, encompassing all aspects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and cost forecasting, proactively identifying potential financial exposures and developing mitigation strategies for projects.
Manage and evaluate contractor's payment applications, ensuring compliance with contract terms and verifying work completed aligns with agreed-upon rates.
Perform value engineering exercises to optimize project costs, identifying opportunities for savings without compromising project quality or scope.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in construction economics.
Possess a professional qualification such as MRICS or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to industry standards and ethical practice.
Hold relevant certifications such as AACE International certifications, further validating expertise in cost management and project controls.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the oil and gas industry, showcasing a deep understanding of project complexities.
