Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing wait times to optimize clinic flow.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, accurately submitting claims and resolving any billing discrepancies to ensure prompt reimbursements.
  • Greet patients warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries to create a positive first impression and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain patient records with meticulous accuracy, updating information and ensuring confidentiality to comply with privacy regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in medical billing or coding is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is essential.
  • Proven experience in insurance verification, claims submission, and denial management.
