Job Description

The Receptionist at our esteemed hotel is the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for every guest. The role requires a dynamic and energetic personality who can work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining a welcoming demeanor. To succeed, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication abilities, a dedication to hospitality, and a strong initiative to manage guest relations effectively. As the face of the hotel, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. You will handle reservations, provide information, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure that all guest requests are handled efficiently and courteously. This position is fundamental to maintaining the hotel s reputation for exceptional service and offers an opportunity for professional growth within the hospitality industry.


Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome all guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes with attention to detail.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate record of room bookings and reservations systems.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel services and amenities.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guests' arrival.
  • Process transactions, including room charges and other services, accurately.
  • Assist in organizing and executing hotel events and guest activities.
  • Manage and process phone calls, emails, and third-party reservation requests.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Safeguard guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues promptly.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, hotel management skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in using hotel reservation and property management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
