Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To serve as the primary liaison for all government and regulatory affairs, ensuring full compliance and enabling seamless store operations across the assigned region.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Government Liaison & Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact and foster strong, collaborative relationships with key government authorities, including but not limited to:
- Dubai Municipality / Relevant Local Municipality
- Civil Defence
- Department of Economic Development (DED)
- Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE)
- Food Safety Authorities
- Officially represent the company in all government-related proceedings, such as MOHRE hearings, documentation reviews, and official investigations, protecting the company's interests.
2. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance:
- Manage the end-to-end process for all company-related licenses, permits, and registrations, ensuring they are obtained and renewed on time to avoid business disruption.
- Proactively monitor and track the expiry of all trade licenses, tenancy contracts, civil defence permits, and health & safety certificates.
3. Store Operations & Project Support:
- Partner closely with the Store Operations and Projects teams to secure all necessary pre-opening and operational approvals, including those for store signage, hoardings, and in-store marketing materials.
- Provide expert guidance to ensure all stores adhere to the latest municipal, civil defence, and public health regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a similar PRO / Government Relations role, preferably within retail or FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of municipal procedures, and statutory compliance requirements.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
· Team player with proactive problem-solving abilities.
