Responsibilities

• Coordinate with surgical team members to ensure efficient operation room workflow.
• Prepare and transport patients for surgical procedures with utmost care and precision.
• Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations, anticipating their needs promptly.
• Monitor patient s vital signs and overall condition during surgical procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments and materials with precision and attention to detail.
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and comprehensively.
• Remain informed about new surgical techniques and integrate them into practice when applicable.
• Support post-operative recovery by providing specialized care and monitoring progress.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and team members alike.
• Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxieties and provide reassurance.
• Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements

• Valid and current Registered Nurse license from recognized board or authority.
• Bachelor s degree in Nursing or an equivalent healthcare qualification is essential.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience in an Operation Theatre setting.
• Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures and operation room best practices.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, privacy, and delivering high-quality care.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with medical staff and patients.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure and emergency situations.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and medical documentation processes.
