Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to support our compliance function in Dubai. This role is responsible for ensuring the organisation s adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on UAE regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in liaising with regulators, interpreting regulatory developments, and ensuring effective communication and implementation of new policies across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments from the UAE Central Bank and other relevant authorities
  • Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, including managing communications and requests
  • Support regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Assess the impact of new and evolving regulations on the business
  • Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate regulatory changes clearly to internal stakeholders and provide practical guidance
  • Support the business in embedding regulatory requirements into day-to-day operations
  • Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews
  • Provide training and awareness on regulatory compliance obligations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Regulatory Compliance role within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, particularly Central Bank requirements
  • Experience engaging directly with regulators and managing regulatory communications
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement regulatory changes
  • Experience drafting and updating policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
