Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their trade cycles and working capital requirements.

Analyze clients cash flow cycles and recommend working capital optimization strategies

Manage and expand a portfolio of SME clients to achieve annual business targets.

Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' business models and financial requirements to provide tailored banking solutions

Identify opportunities to cross-sell SME banking solutions including POS Lending, Asset-Backed Lending, Supply Chain Finance, and Cash Management

Drive revenue generation while upholding strong credit quality standards.

Prepare comprehensive credit proposals with detailed financial and risk analyses

Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signs, and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies

Ensure timely renewal and restructuring of credit facilities in line with internal and regulatory policies

Partner with internal teams (Credit, Operations, Compliance) to deliver seamless service execution

Address and resolve client queries promptly to maintain high satisfaction and retention levels

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulations, and industry dynamics

Utilize insights to provide advisory services and identify opportunities for business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred)

7 10 years of experience in SME Banking, including business development and relationship management

Proven track record of closing SME deals and managing complex credit relationships in the UAE or GCC region

Strong understanding of SME banking in UAE and lending products

Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, and lending structures

Ability to interpret financial documents (P&L, balance sheets).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of UAE regulatory environment and corporate governance standards

Familiarity with digital banking platforms and financial technology solutions

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen

High ethical standards and integrity

Sales-driven with strong negotiation and closing skills
