Job Title
Relationship Officer Retail Banking First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for all assigned retail banking products.
- Focus on New-to-Bank acquisition while leveraging existing client relationships for cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct detailed financial and risk analysis of customer profiles before onboarding.
- Identify customer needs and provide suitable product solutions including credit cards, loans, deposits, and wealth management products.
- Maintain daily sales reports and provide regular performance updates to the team leader and asset manager.
- Contribute to the development of business growth strategies and identify market opportunities.
Customer Experience
- Deliver an outstanding client onboarding experience by ensuring full product and policy knowledge.
- Maintain transparency and integrity in all sales interactions to avoid mis-selling.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring retention and satisfaction.
- Handle and resolve customer issues efficiently, escalating cases when necessary.
- Ensure customers receive accurate and clear communication regarding products and services.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Strictly adhere to FAB s KYC, compliance, and operational policies.
- Ensure all internal controls and risk management processes are followed to maintain satisfactory audit ratings.
- Identify and report any potential fraud or policy violations promptly.
- Ensure client onboarding documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Learning and Growth
- Participate actively in FAB s training and professional development programs to enhance product and sales expertise.
- Stay informed about competitor offerings and market trends to provide feedback on product improvements.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and growth in financial sales.

Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or PGDM preferred).
- 3 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in retail or business banking sales.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent understanding of banking products, risk assessment, and customer acquisition processes.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
