Job DescriptionThe Institute of Public Health at College of Medicine, UAE University is seeking a research assistant/associate with administrative duties to provide comprehensive administrative and academic support for our Public Health graduate programs (MPH/PhD) and research units. This role is central to the graduate student lifecycle, from admissions to graduation, and includes responsibilities for course coordination, event planning, and communications. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who ensures the smooth operation of our academic programs, and research units 1. Provide comprehensive administrative support for the MPH and PhD programs, the IPH research units, and departmental faculty, 2. Manage the graduate student lifecycle from admission to graduation, including records, academic requests, and PhD milestone tracking. 3. Coordinate course logistics, including scheduling, room bookings, and preparation of course materials. 4. Maintain learning platforms (e.g., Blackboard) and assist faculty with course setup and syllabus development. 5. Facilitate the assessment process, including the collection of assignments, grades, and course evaluations. 6. Organize program events and manage marketing communications, including social media and newsletters. 7. Provide general departmental support and engage in ongoing professional developmentMinimum QualificationBachelor s degree in relevant Field Relevant experiencePreferred QualificationBachelor s degree in relevant Field Relevant experienceExpected SkillsExcellent computer and numerical ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills
