Research Assistant (RA)

Requirements:

• Proven background in research in Computer Science, Communication Engineering or any related field.
• Familiarity with research methodologies, particularly in AI, IoT, agricultural technologies, and data analysis.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards in data collection and analysis.
• Proficient in simulation data analysis software required by project
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present findings.

Responsibilities:

• Data collection from agricultural sites in Oman using IoT sensor networks.
• Development and implementation of AI models to analyze agricultural data.
• Conducting simulation modeling and field testing of the proposed system.
• Supporting the research team with tasks related to algorithm development, system design, and optimization.
• Writing research and working papers, and other publications related to the project.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to gather data and implement system components.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations on project progress and findings.
