Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Handle booking requests by phone, email and other channels, ensuring a prompt and professional response.
  • Use the Opera V5 system to record, modify and manage reservations, ensuring the accuracy of the information.
  • Monitor bookings, cancellations and changes in real time.
  • Advise clients on the different room options and rates, according to their needs and preferences.
  • Maximize sales by offering upsells and special offers tailored to customer needs.
  • To liaise between clients and internal departments, including reception, housekeeping, and sales.
  • To provide accurate and detailed information to guests about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Oversee the management of groups and special bookings, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • To guarantee an exceptional customer experience from the first contact, by offering courteous and professional service.
  • Handle special customer requests with care and efficiency, ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Resolve any booking-related issues or complaints proactively and promptly.
  • Update booking statistics daily, using Opera V5 to produce accurate performance reports.
  • Participate in setting up and monitoring booking targets for the team.
  • Check room availability and ensure optimal management of overbooked rooms.
  • Actively participate in internal and external training to improve knowledge of the product, systems, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures, including pricing policies and quality standards

Desired Candidate Profile

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in the Opera V5 booking management system is essential.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and reservation management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Great attention to detail and impeccable organization.
