Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Resort Director of Sales to join our luxury resort in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our executive team, you will lead our sales efforts to position our resort as a premier destination in the rapidly growing Saudi Arabian tourism market.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious targets
  • Create and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for all sales activities
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, with a focus on luxury travel and tourism in the Middle East
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational excellence
  • Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in the hospitality industry and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 7-10 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry, with a focus on luxury resorts
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and increasing market share in competitive environments
  • Strong understanding of the Middle Eastern tourism landscape and luxury travel market
  • Expertise in strategic planning, revenue management, and sales forecasting
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and data analysis tools
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to relocate to AlUla, Saudi Arabia
