Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and deliver innovative retail architectural designs aligned with brand identity and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings.
  • Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, MEP, and structural teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and approve construction drawings and shop drawings for compliance with design standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality, timelines, and design implementation.
  • Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Support client presentations, concept development, and design proposals.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and project records.
  • Stay updated on global retail design trends and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; specialization in Retail Design is preferred.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in retail architecture or commercial design.
  • Proven track record in designing retail spaces, flagship stores, or commercial complexes.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of retail customer experience, brand identity, and design integration.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • LEED or other sustainability certifications are an advantage.
