Retail Banking Manager - Payments

Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Payments products, aligned with the bank s strategic objectives and revenue goals.

• Own the payments product portfolio, including P&L accountability, pricing strategy, and market share growth.
• Conduct market research, customer insights, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and enhanced customer experience.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, operations, IT, and vendor partners to design, launch, and enhance payment products while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Drive strategic initiatives to optimize product performance, increase adoption, and implement scalable, technology-driven solutions.
• Monitor product KPIs, revenue, adoption metrics, and operational efficiency; provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Act as the senior bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet strategic objectives without deep involvement in day-to-day technical execution.
• Influence stakeholders on payments product decisions, balancing regulatory requirements, market trends, and business priorities.
• Lead initiatives to innovate digital payment solutions, improve customer engagement, and expand merchant and consumer adoption.

Bachelor s/Master s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

• 10 12 years of experience in product management within banking or fintech, with strong exposure to digital payments, wallets, merchant solutions, or payment infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in strategic product planning, portfolio management, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of Egyptian banking regulations, payment systems, and digital payment platforms.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in driving revenue growth, portfolio optimization, and P&L accountability.
• Desirable certifications: Certified Product Manager (CPM), SAFe Product Manager, or equivalent in payments or banking.
