Job Description
As a Retail Banking Officer specializing in Personal Loans, you will be an essential part of our banking team, responsible for facilitating and managing personal loan services. Your role will involve understanding customer needs and structuring favorable loan solutions while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. You will act as an intermediary between clients and our institution, ensuring that both parties' priorities are well-aligned. Your expertise in financial products and attention to detail will be pivotal in attracting and retaining clients. Developing long-term relationships with our clientele will be crucial to promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and the bank's policies and strive to achieve monthly lending targets. Through collaboration with different departments, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes, ensuring efficiency and the highest level of service delivery.


Responsibilities
  • Evaluate client applications to recommend appropriate personal loan options meeting needs.
  • Provide an exemplary customer service experience to all banking clients at all stages.
  • Ensure clarity and transparency in all client communications regarding loan terms.
  • Analyze financial statements and credit reports for loan eligibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure all requirements are efficiently met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing loan clients.
  • Promote additional banking products that may benefit personal loan customers.
  • Stay updated with current financial markets and changes affecting personal loan products.
  • Monitor and assess the personal loan portfolio to mitigate delinquency risks.
  • Adhere to compliance protocols and internal policies to meet regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on new loan processing techniques.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing loan activity and performance for management review.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in retail banking services essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of personal loan products and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients.
  • Strong analytical abilities with keen problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in banking software and familiarity with CRM systems recommended.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy always.
