Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue potential customers or clients through various sales channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the credit card and personal loan sectors, focusing on lead generation and conversion.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by effectively promoting credit card and personal loan products.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as underwriting and customer service, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Proactively identify and pursue new credit card and personal loan sales opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential customers to understand their financial goals and recommend suitable credit card and loan products.
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and terms of credit card and personal loan products, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to application submission, approval follow-up, and account activation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies throughout the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes within the credit and lending industry.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to credit card and personal loan applications and approvals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and generate referrals for future business.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Ensure complete awareness of bank’s product features, policies and processes always.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Convert leads into sales by resolving client concerns and guiding them through the sales process.
- Follow up with the customer on physical card receipt and activation
- Provide ongoing support to existing clients while ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Set and track sales goals and implement strategies for driving growth.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Collaborate within teams to achieve better results.
- Participate in promotional activities and events to increase awareness about the products.
- Ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures.

- Maintaining long-term, meaningful relationships with existing clients to retain business from them.
- Indulge in various networking activities to connect with professionals that might end up being prospective clients.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and procedures.
- To adhere to code of conduct & ethics while performing required duties especially while doing the Authentications of KYC documents.
- To ensure that the product information shared with the customer is accurate.
- To adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Service Standards of the bank.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferably in Finance and Marketing.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Possesses relevant certifications in banking or financial services, such as a Certified Credit Professional (CCP).
- Has 2-3 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within the credit card or personal loan industry.
- Fluent in English and [Specify other language if required], both written and spoken.
- Should be a citizen of [Specify nationality if required].
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of credit card and personal loan products, features, and eligibility criteria.
- Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Must be fluent in English and any other regional language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 1-5 years of banking industry sales experience.
- Builds and maintains relationships with clients, understands their needs, and addresses concerns effectively.
- Strong sales and communication skills.
