Position Summary

Reporting to the Commercial Director and based in Dubai, the Retail Development Manager for UAE and Oman will be responsible for:

• Driving and delivering sales performance, market share and ranking across all retail stores
• Building a strong commercial relationship with key retail partner(s)
• Leading on all retail performance and team operations topics
  
  

Job Responsibilities

Sales and Retail Development:

Drive retail sales and market share growth to achieve monthly set targets.

Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, education, visual merchandising) to execute brand initiatives and promotions.

Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to support business strategies.

Build and maintain an excellent relationship with key stakeholders at retail

Team Leadership and Development:

Recruit, mentor and lead a team of retail experience supervisors, boutique managers, and beauty & brow experts.

Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews.

Develop individual development plans for team members in collaboration with HR and Education team to foster career growth and skill enhancement.

Retail Operations and Standards:

• Ensure consistent execution of Benefit Cosmetics visual merchandising standards across all retail locations.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels in store to meet customer demand.
• Address and resolve any operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Maintain monthly communication with the team on store targets and follow up on performance versus target on a weekly basis
• Update regular reports on team sales performance, brand vs market trend, and team activities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  

Profile

Qualifications 5 to 10 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of success Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a large retail team Strong understanding of sales principles and retail operations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends Proficiency in Microsoft Office Passion for the beauty industry and knowledge of cosmetic products and trends Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
